Premiere Art Show by 13-year-old Visual Artist, Roosevelt Night
The TV is dead, but it still hums.
Something circles above it. Not birds…memories with teeth.
They come when the screen flickers. They feed when you remember. This is nostalgia, the afterimage. The burn-in. The thing that lingers just behind your eyes…strange, familiar, and a little bit alive.
Stay as long as you like.
It’s already watching you.
Blurring the line between satire and reverence, the work reflects on how we consume the past…picking at it, preserving it, and reinventing it. Both playful and incisive, the show invites viewers into a messy, funny, and unexpectedly profound meditation on memory, media, and meaning.
The Fallout Lounge becomes ground zero for the beautiful mess. Beneath the city, this underground refuge turned playground for irreverent laughter still holds echoes of its past…something vintage, something charged…now pulsing with creativity, humor, and edge.
